Data Platform
There are many different of kinds of data platforms, mostly to share resources in the form of validated data or to share resources for Artificial Intelligence. The goal is always efficient use, i.e. saving costs, enabling many use cases on a uniquely built platform that bundles aspects such as data access, license sharing or computing power. However, the most common need is for data to be modeled once and for a data truth to be provided. We are familiar with the setup of EDWHs as well as Analytics platforms or Planning platforms, but also decentralized DWHs, which bundle the data for these use cases in a corporate domain of a group.
Event-driven architecture & digital twin
Event-driven architectures offer an alternative to classic batch processes in a datadriven landscape. For the end customer, this results in a data-driven user experience that would otherwise be almost impossible to realize or would not scale.
